One Disease at a Time

One Disease
at a Time

We are a non-profit initiative dedicated to tackling gambling addiction in Australia — one person, one family, one community at a time.

Gambling addiction affects over 500,000 Australians, with millions more experiencing harm as family members, friends, or colleagues. Australia has one of the highest rates of gambling losses per capita in the world.

Our Mission

We exist to reduce the harm caused by gambling addiction in Australia. Through education, community engagement, and connecting people to support services, we aim to empower individuals, families, and communities to break free from the cycle of problem gambling.

Australia holds the unfortunate distinction of having the highest gambling losses per capita in the world. With nearly 200,000 poker machines — more per person than almost any other country — and increasingly aggressive sports betting advertising, the problem continues to grow. We believe this can change.
